EU institutions follow cyber security pilot scheme

12 September 2012:  EU institutions have established the EU’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-EU) on a permanent basis.  The decision follows a successful 1 year pilot of the program. 

CERT-EU works with the internal IT security teams of the EU institutions and with companies in the Member states. CERT-EU is a small team of cyber security experts that seeks to efficiently respond to cyber security incidents and threats.
