ACCAN publishes the Making the Right Call Guide

5 September 2012:  The Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) has produced a guide, Making the Right Call, that summarises consumer rights as a phone and internet customer as outlined in the Telecommunications Consumer Protections Code and other relevant laws, regulations and industry codes.

This guide informs customers of:

  • the information they should receive before they sign up or buy
  • what to expect when they’re signing up or buying
  • what should happen after their purchase
  • what they should do if something goes wrong
